Landmark ranked #2 as Top 100 adventures on top100expo.com

"The benefits from this adventure last a lifetime, not just a few days like
a Vespa tour through Italy, or a few moments like a skydive from an
airplane. The Landmark Forum is a new kind of adventure. It's not just
exciting -- it's totally transformational.

If we discover an adventure that takes us directly to heaven, or guarantees
world peace, it will unseat the Landmark Forum. Until then, the Landmark
Forum clearly resides near the very top of our Top 100 List."

Avant browser

A browser that uses Internet Explorer's engine, but adds a heck lots
of great features. It's a tab browser, can block image/activeX/flash
with a click on button. And it's RSS feed is also a great feature. It
claims to be the fastest browser, I tried it out, it's really quite
fast!

Some of its features are better than Firefox, almost to the level of
Opera. But I'm not sure if I want to change to it yet.... It's still
based on IE!!

By the way, it's a freeware and has no spyware or any limitation. Great!

Here's it. http://www.avantbrowser.com/

Thanks Kes for the pointer.

BUG Bike for breakie

The Bicycle User Group in UWA organised a free breakfast at the tennis court today. And surprisingly, I woke up in time to be there by 8:30am.
Ton loads of bicycles on the side of tennis court, 5 or 6 long tables for seating. Cereal, hot cross bun, fruits, juice, yogurt... And a live 2-person band, bonus!
It was a little hot to eat under the sun, but the atmosphere was great!

Have a nice day!

Landmark Forum

I went to Landmark tonight again. It's the 8th InAction seminar tonight.
It was great inspiration again. The topic was on Responsibility and Problems tonight.

"We're just responding machinery. Some of us has great responding machanism and some of us has bad one. The machinery was build through some events occured early in our life, to survive life. The responding machinery may get us to somewhere high or great, but it may not be somewhere we really want to get to. So, work out of the machinery response, take over the autopilot, drive our life with our own will!"

"There are Problems, but they shouldn't be there!! OR In life, there are Problems. It's just that those problems that you'll dealing with are DEAD BORING!!! If you have a BIG probem that's worth your life to solve, you won't complain so much about the small little problems inlife anymore. Extraordinary people rise through dealing with extraordinary problems."

[Hopefully I'm not leaking out any confidential education material of the Landmarkeducation, if this steps on any toes, please let me knowand I'll take it down.]

Graduation season

It's graduation season also. At this time of the day, while attention
span is short and people starts going home, happy graduates with
colourful gowns walking pass my window surely draw my attention. I get
my eyes off the computer screen or the papers for a break, for as long
as coluorful graduates are within my field of view through my window
(the image plane). I sometimes move my head (change the optical
center) for a longer gaze.
I'm getting nuttily bored I guess. I better go home.

Head count this week.

The University's Accommodation Planning Section are conducting a
utilisation survey this week to find out rooms that are populated by
ghosts so that they can do something about them...
We all postgrads will be obediently staying in our office all day long
for this whole week so taht our head got counted, and hence get to
remain on our body with the desk we are attached to.
It's just rather funny to be 'counted' every an hour or two...

Haha! My dinner again... Boring life eh? Don't I have anything better to show? Haha. Not at the moment.

I'm UWA Table tennis club secretary!!

Went to weekly table tennis club session on Saturday. And I just took up the secretary post of the club. Seems like most people are are only interested in playing the game but to worry about how the club exists and runs... Well, I was told that only a couple of meetings and some promotional work will do... Haven't been running any club for a while, time to get a bit more active again...

By the way, it's 3:30-6pm, in the sport & rec center, UWA. Welcome to join us! Haha, my first bit of advertisement here!

My homemade dinner. Didn't really bother to cook anything fancy. It looked alright under the flash. And tasted great too. :D Posted by Hello

This little bug appeared on my desk out of nowhere. It looked like a grain or something, and when I touch it, it didn't move... but 2 seconds later, it jumped up high and dropped back on to the table, gave me a bit of shock... Posted by Hello

Where it all begins

A thousand-mile journey starts with a footstep.
This is the first post. This is the first little footstep.
And this is where it all begins......
